We are a group of devout believers who seek to fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission in the proclamation of the gospel (Mt.28:19-20). We share Paul’s desire that the word of God may dwell richly in every believer’s heart (Col.3:16), for God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Because it safeguards us from going astray in a world of temptation, our hope is that every believer may be rooted in the word of God.
With advances in information technology, computing has become a major part of home entertainment. Many people spend hours surfing the Internet to find something to fill a void in their lives. Unfortunately, more evil than good has a way of creeping into our homes through the Internet. No one, not even believers, are immune from this subtle infiltration. To fight this trend, we aim to develop Bible software tools that stimulate people’s interest in finding the precious treasures in the word of God. The hope that home computing may be used for the Lord’s work and for deepening our spiritual lives, is our main motivation for founding AOsurvey Company Ltd.
The “AO” in AOsurvey stands for Alpha and Omega, one of many titles of God. He is the Alpha and the Omega (Rev.1:8). The company’s name is designed to draw us to a reverence of God. For in all that we do, it is our heart’s desire to honor and glorify Abba Father, our Father in Heaven, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. We want to love our God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our strength (Deut.6:5) – which the Lord Jesus says is the greatest commandment (Mat.22:37-38).
But how can we follow this commandment wholeheartedly unless we first love the word of God? Only when his word takes root in our hearts can we truly say that we love God with all our being. The world is populated with believers. If we should ask them whether they would like to deepen their communion with God, many would immediately say “yes”. But if we should ask them whether they are willing to spend time to study God’s word, to seek the truth, and to live by it, many will withdraw and walk away.
With this in mind, the word “Survey” has been incorporated into the company’s name. “Survey” implies searching into the word of God. The Lord has convicted our hearts to see the famine in the word of God in the last days (Amos 8:11). Working under this conviction, we have developed our first Bible tool, Eagle’s View, so that anyone can survey the Bible with a relatively easy “seek and find” approach. We hope to generate enough interest in the user so that every time he or she uses the tool, there will be excitement like that of an adventurous tourist who explores territories and discovers uncharted lands and breathtaking sceneries. That is why we named our website www.biblewordtour.com, signifying a tour through the word of God. We hope that the user may find the Bible tool a useful instrument for discovering treasures in the word of God, much like the merchant in the parable who searches for the priceless pearl (Mat.13:45-46). The software tool is simple enough for a layperson to do a study on the Bible, yet even theological students can use it to deepen their knowledge in the word of God.
A Different Approach to Studying the Word of God
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Those who wait upon the Lord for His leading, shall mount up with eagle’s wings. In the past, every time I prepared a Bible study, I would do it the traditional way, that is, avoid using computerized Bible tools. I would get out my library of Bible tools (concordances, dictionaries, interlinear Bible, LXX, and so on) and work on the Bible study. It was a tedious task, but I would do it anyway.
Then a year ago, the Lord led me to a new challenge: to conduct a series of NT book surveys. With the traditional method, searching through NT books word by word was an almost impossible task. In desperation I ventured into computerized Bible tools. Unfortunately, they couldn’t speed up the analysis for a complete book study, not even for 3John, the shortest book in the New Testament. As I waited upon the Lord, He gave me a vision of a spreadsheet full of Bible words. It gave me a bird’s eye view of words in the Bible organized in book by book columns. God gave me the perception of an eagle’s eye and, suddenly, it dawned on me that this is the kind of Bible study tool that would benefit any believer, from a lay person to a church pastor, yet is unlike anything in the Bible study tools market. As a result, we formed a team of devout Christians, and ventured into two fronts. One is to develop the software as envisioned, in a spreadsheet format. The other is to use the tool to conduct the NT book survey.
A year has passed, ‘Eagle’s View’ will soon make its debut this summer. We hope that whoever uses this tool will find it:
But certainly, it is not I but under the leading of the Holy Spirit that makes all this possible. All glory, honor and reverence to Abba Yahweh, the only wise, Almighty God.

1. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
2. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
3. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” One like a Son of Man
4. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
5. Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.
6. “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD , “when I will send a famine through the land- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.
7. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
